We wish to extend a special thanks to the Wayne County Community Foundation, which has assisted Wayne Trails with the creation of a charitable account. Donations earmarked for the “Wayne Trails Fund” are deductible as a 501(c)(3) contribution.
A special fund has been established at the Wayne County Community Foundation for donations to expand our community’s multi-use “bike trail” network and connect to the existing trails of greater Wayne County. The purpose of this fund is to provide charitable assistance to Wayne Trails to promote, plan, construct, and maintain this new network throughout the County for recreation and alternative transportation purposes. When used as a match for grants through programs such as the Clean Ohio Trails Fund and the Transportation Alternatives Program, every donated dollar on its own can generate up to $4.50 more in grant funds.
